Woodcut / woodblock print, printed in a limited edition of 15 pieces. This work is printed from one linden woodblock on professional Clairefontaine Simili Japon Blanc paper (250gr/sqm). This print features two colour layers. Numbered, titled and signed by hand by the artist under the image. Inks used are non-toxic, soy-based inks.

This print is inspired by the retreating glaciers of the Mont Blanc and Écrins massifs in the Alps. These glaciers retreat at an unprecedented pace due to climate change. Here the title 'New Stone Age' originates, referring to both the rocky moraines that remain after glacial retreat, as well as the enormous impact of climate change on mankind itself.
