Handmade Woodcut / Woodblock print 'Diepe Tijd' ('Deep Time')
Woodcut / woodblock print, printed in a limited edition of 10 pieces. This work is printed from one linden woodblock on professional Clairefontaine Simili Japon Blanc paper (250gr/sqm). The print features three colour layers. Numbered, titled and signed by hand by the artist under the image. Inks used are non-toxic, soy-based inks.

This print was inspired by the geology of the Jura mountain range, where underground limestone cave systems give insight in a long and distant geologic history. The title of this artwork was borrowed from the timeframe used to indicate an era in the geologic time scale.
